Introduce
Note for the students that the adjectives for weather come from adding“y” to cloud rain, snow, sun, and wind.
Demonstrate weather adjectives with a real example and pictures. For example, point out my classroom window and say “Look! It’s ___ today.” Then draw five windows on the blackboard. Draw a quick picture for the different weather adjectives in each. Point to each picture and lead a dialogue such as:
T: Look! It’s ___ today.
C: It’s __
